Veterinary Nurse
Stacey qualified as an RVN in the UK in 2014 and has gained the NCert in Anaesthesia and Dentistry and most recently the Advanced NCert in Anaesthesia, making Stacey the first and currently only RVN in the UK to hold the accreditation of Lead Vet Nurse Practitioner in Anaesthesia.
Stacey has completed the BVNA Oral Care Nurse Certificate, BSAVA Merit in Anaesthesia and Emergency Critical Care, and ISFM certificate in Feline Nursing and in February 2024 qualified as a RECOVER CPR rescuer. In November 2024 Stacey will be starting the ISFM Feline Nursing Diploma.
Stacey works clinically with Rachel Perry, both a RCVS and European Veterinary Specialist in Dentistry at Perry Referrals and since October 2023 runs her own CPD company- Burty’s Boutique- offering relatable, affordable, stress free CPD in the form of monthly webinars, face to face events and products.
Stacey also regularly lectures to local, national, and international audiences and has had several articles published.
In her spare time- Stacey enjoys walking, going to the beach, reading, spending time with her cats and rabbits, baking and swimming.
