Veterinary Surgeon
Knut is founding member of the Equine section of the European college of veterinary dentistry (EVDC-Equine) and diplomate of the European college of veterinary surgery (ECVS). He is running an exclusively equine dental and sinus surgery consultancy practise in France and abroad.
He graduated from the Free University of Berlin Germany in 2004 after his veterinary studies in
Berlin, Germany, Paris, France, and Brisbane, Australia.
After his internship in equine medicine and surgery in Belgium at the University of Liège he returned to Germany to work in equine private equine practises and hospitals in Northern Germany, with the emphasis in equine dentistry and in his own exclusively dental related ambulatory and referral practise.
In 2012 he moved to France in order to undergo a residency program in equine surgery at the Veterinary school of Lyon, which he completed in 2015. Since then, Knut worked abroad in the Emirates, the UK and Sweden, while continuing his private practise in France.
He also has an interest in integrated medicine and is a certified animal chiropractor since 2012.
Knut has published a variety of articles on equine dentistry and he gives practical courses in basic and advanced equine dental and sinus related topics in France and internationally.
